CUPE 1842 is proud to represent the Paramedics who care for residents and visitors across Hastings and Prince Edward Counties. Every day, our members respond to emergencies, provide life-saving care, and support the health and safety of the communities we serve—around the clock, year-round.

Our service area includes Belleville, Trenton, Centre and North Hastings (including Stirling, Madoc, and Bancroft), Prince Edward County, and the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte.

Our membership includes both Advanced Care and Primary Care Paramedics, consisting of approximately 130 full-time and 40 part-time members who are dedicated to delivering skilled, compassionate care to our region.
